Commercial Energy Code Compliance

Both the Stretch Energy Code and the 2012 IECC code contain energy efficiency standards which must be certified. Buildings between 5,000 and 40,000 square feet can meet code requirements by demonstrating compliance with all specified standards.

Our process for meeting Commercial Energy Codes is as follows;

  1. Review building plans.
  2. Review insulation, heating, cooling, window, and lighting specifications
  3. Provide a letter of certification for permit
  4. Inspect and photodocument during construction
  5. Inspect following insulation
  6. Provide letter of compliance following insulation inspection
  7. Inspect and photodocument mechanical systems
  8. Final inspection, letter of compliance
